What is erosion?

Either gravity, water or wind will then move bits that have been broken off the object, wearing it down and eventually destroying the object.
What is weathering?
Weathering is breakdown of the earth caused by natural agents. Another form of weathering is to wear or change the texture of something that has been exposed to the atmosphere for too long. Some commons forms of weathering is: Moss or colour loss.
